Sarah Winn has successfully worked in theatre for over 13 Years. She trained at the Oxford School of Drama and The School of Physical Theatre. Her credits include The Jeweller directed by Paul Jepson, in London’s West End, and The Good Earth, Wales Millennium Centre, as well as touring a one woman show for 3 months. She is most passionate about the work she does with young offenders, vulnerable adults and diverse communities. She moved from London to Kent four years ago, since then her work has been focused more locally. She is an Head of development for Portrait Theatre and a core member of FPAC, Folkestone Performing Arts Company.

Dramaturgy and assistant director by Isabelle Defaut

Isabelle Defaut is a verbatim and documentary theatre maker.

She trained as an actor at the Webber Douglas Academy, London and later retrained as a theatre director with the Studio Theater in Washington DC.  She completed her Masters in Theatre making at the University of Kent in 2020, specialising in Verbatim theatre.  One of her recent projects was the development and production of a verbatim piece 'I am seen.  Are you?', about mental health in young people, staged at the Marlowe in March 2023.

Isabelle is Artistic Director of Portrait, Resident Theatre Company at the University of Kent.

Will Desmond

Movement director Will Townsend

William Townsend is a Theatre Maker & Facilitator, & the Co-Director of OFFIE award-winning Physical Theatre company GymJam Theatre.

He has worked & collaborated all over the UK & EU with GymJam, such as their international collaboration with DOGMA in 2022. William has co-created & toured shows with companies such as Babel Theatre, Katla, Undercover Theatre & more, in London, Norway, and Australia.

William uses play, challenge, & connection to craft movement that speaks more than words can. His work zooms in & out of reality and fantasy worlds, offering audiences wide and intimate perspectives.

Leon Dean
Leon Dean
Leon is an extremely captivating and versatile emerging actor. Despite being relatively new to the industry, he has hit the ground running with various Feature Film, Short Film, TV & Commercial credits. Most notably, portraying Tupac Shakur in a Docu-Drama airing on US Television; and most recently an encouraging feature in ‘The Lost Pirate Kingdom’ currently airing on Netflix. He would like to thank his family for all their continued support and love.
Dylan Poirot Canton
Dylan Poirot Canton
Beginning acting classes when young, Dylan went on to train at Trinity Laban and with Shoreditch Youth Dance, before attending London Contemporary Dance School, studying ballet and contemporary techniques such as release, flying low and Cunningham. Furthering his craft in choreography and improvisation for devising performances, while exploring physical comedy in film for his dissertation. After graduating he wrote and devised Fathers Flower, a solo involving scripted monologue and structured improvised dance, which he performed at The Place in Resolution festival. Dylan is currently working on screenwriting, physical theatre and experimentation in film, forwarding his practice in directing and devising for screen.

Sheldon Kartreiber
Sheldon is an actor from Ramsgate, Kent. He found his love of cinema and admiration for the craft of acting never left him and began the journey to becoming a theatre and screen actor. He is directly involved in the development of the new British feature film, ‘This Way of Life’ and took an acting role in the sizzle trailer for securing finance. He is also undergoing 1-2-1 Meisner acting training through a mentoring program. He has recently been cast in a short film and a new horror feature, ‘Cricks Out of the Woodwork’(2023).

Will Desmond trained at Aelfa Acadamy of Dramatic Arts where he was taught everything from Clowning, to musical theatre, classical performance and dance. After graduating, Will began performing professionally. A career highlight for Will has been creating his one person show "The Golden Child" and touring the country to different fringe festivals with the story of him and his brother in a comedy cabaret style show.
